Why We’re Introducing A Mascot as Part of Our STEP Brand

Why We’re Introducing A Mascot as Part of Our STEP Brand

Which animal is known for its ingenuity and agility, and would be worthy of building your brand around? Can you guess?

Traditionally, a mascot is an animal or object used to represent a group with a common identity. This includes schools, sports teams, organizations, charities, and brands. The choice of mascot often embodies an organization’s most desirable qualities and characteristics, aligned with the brand’s spirit, and is reflected in its daily operations.

Let’s continue the mascot guessing game, shall we? Here’s another hint: STEP Software serves our clients with solutions that are nimble, agile, and resourceful. And we pride ourselves on hiring team members who aren’t only skillful, they’re clever.

Figure it out? For those of you playing along at home, we’ll give you a clue:

When we searched for a suitable mascot, the fox became the obvious choice. Turns out, the traits embodied by the fox line up nicely with the sought-after qualities that our software development team has in abundance.

Our new fox mascot symbolizes more than above-average smarts. It signifies persistence and creativity, two traits that help us develop products and projects that lead to repeat customers. Satisfied customers. Customers who can also feel clever for having chosen the best team for the job.

We’ll be sprinkling the fox around our website, throughout the office, (check out the boardroom!) and on a handful of branded items for both staff and clients. You never know when you’ll be in the middle of a meeting with a wandering mind, and suddenly your gaze falls on the fox graphic. It spurs you back on track, a meaningful symbol of tenacity and commitment to clever solutions. Intuitive solutions, created by a team that is capable, imaginative and dedicated.

Our mascot encapsulates who we are at STEP Software, and at the end of the day, we collectively strive to be more like that little fox. We hope that the fox will serve as a pleasant reminder for both clients and prospective clients that their projects are in good hands. Or in good paws, as the case may be. :-)
